ODM's Robert Alai Reacts After Citizen TV's Jeff Koinange Was Seen With Protestors on the Streets

A video of citizen tv journalist, Jeff Koinange with protestors on the streets has been the talk of many after it became apparent that the journalist was enjoying the moment with those who were on the streets for the 2nd year Anniversary of the 2024 Finance Bill protest by the Gen Z population.

"In the streets of the Nation’s Capital on Maandamano Thursday. Oooh my." Wrote the citizen tv journalist, Jeff Koinange.

Among those who have reacted to the post by the citizen tv journalist is Vocal ODM politician, Hon. Robert Alai.

Speaking through his official X page on Thursday, the 25th of June, the Kileleshwa Ward Representative has argued that the presence of Journalists Jeff Koinange on the streets makes it clear that the hate towards President William Ruto by a section of people from Mt. Kenya is rather personal, and not our of genuine reasons.

According to Alai, when the late former Prime Minister was on the streets, journalist like Jeff Koinange were never seen on the streets for any reason.

Alai has gone further to allege that the hate towards President William Ruto is ethnic and comes from an entitled mentality.

"When Baba was on the streets, you would never find Jeff on the streets. This level of entitlement and hate for Ruto is ethnic." Said the vocal ODM politician in his bold message.
