Man Leaks Last WhatsApp Chats With Newly Employed Teacher Carlos Keter Before Tragic Helicopter Crash That Killed Him and MP Johana Ng’eno, Reveals Plans They Had

Kenyans are grappling with another layer of heartbreak as the last WhatsApp conversations of teacher Carlos Keter have surfaced, showing the plans he had made just days before his untimely death in the tragic helicopter crash that also claimed Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno.

The crash occurred on the evening of Saturday, February 28, in Mosop, Nandi County, killing all six people on board.

In the leaked chats, Carlos, who had recently joined MP Ng’eno’s team, was seen making weekend plans with his close friend, Earnest.

Their conversation, mainly in their native Kalenjin language, showed a bond of friendship and excitement for a casual heart-to-heart meeting that, tragically, never took place.

“My last conversation with my great friend and colleague Carlos K. Keter was on Wednesday, where we promised each other to meet over this weekend… Little did I know that death awaited him,” Earnest shared on social media, expressing the shock and grief he felt.

The chats also reveal Carlos praising MP Ng’eno’s hands-on approach, particularly with bursary programs. He was genuinely enthusiastic about his work and committed to supporting the community through his role in the MP’s office.

He responded thoughtfully when asked if the workload was manageable, reflecting both his professionalism and dedication.

Social media users have responded with an outpouring of condolences and grief, sharing memories and expressing sorrow at the abrupt loss.

Ngusero Kibet wrote, “Mr Keter was my Kiswahili teacher, and he devoted himself so much to his job. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”

Others highlighted how recently Carlos had joined MP Ng’eno’s team, and how he and the MP tragically perished together.

Adding to the eerie nature of events, a Kenyan pastor recently claimed to have dreamt a month prior about a helicopter accident that would claim the life of a popular politician.

While many remain skeptical, the parallels between the dream and the actual crash have left some unsettled.

The revelation of Carlos Keter’s last chats not only humanizes the tragedy but also underscores the suddenness with which life can change.

Plans made with joy and anticipation were unexpectedly cut short, leaving friends, family, and a grieving nation to mourn a young life full of promise.
