Police Officers Withdrawn from Natembeya and Khalwale Could Be Fired as Murkomen Reveals Govt's Plan



The Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior and National Administration Kipchumba Murkomen has revealed that the National Police Service (NPS).

 Going to take further action on police officers withdrawn from Governor George Natembeya's security detail.

Speaking to the media about the issue in Kasipul, Homabay County, the powerful CS explained the reason why the security detail of the two prominent politicians was recalled.

Murkomen stated that the officers are suspected to be engaging in criminal activities through collaboration with criminals and goons.

He thus stated that recalling them is not the end of the crackdown. 

He promised that the NPS is going to carry out further investigations, if they are found culpable, they would be fired.

"It's not enough that they have been withdrawn; disciplinary action will be taken against them.

If the charges are proven, they will be relieved of their responsibilities within the National Police Service, lose their jobs," Murkomen stated.
