Governor Simba Arati Welcomes Ruto, Uhuru, and Kalonzo Back to ODM


Kisii Governor Simba Arati has welcomed President William Ruto, former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kalonzo Musyoka back to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), saying it marks a new chapter in Kenya’s political unity.

Arati said the move by the three top leaders to work together with ODM leader Raila Odinga is a sign that Kenya is finally moving towards peace and political maturity.

He said Kenyans have suffered for too long because of divisions among leaders and it was time for unity and development to take centre stage.

Arati told the cheering crowd that the return of the three leaders to ODM was not about personal gain but about building a strong and united country.

“This is not about power or politics; it is about Kenya. When leaders who once disagreed choose to work together, it shows growth and wisdom,” Arati said.

He praised President Ruto for putting aside political differences and focusing on the needs of the people.

He also thanked former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kalonzo Musyoka for showing maturity and patriotism by joining hands with Raila Odinga once again.

The Kisii governor said ODM will remain open to all leaders who are willing to put the intereting 

He added that the cooperation among top national leaders would help solve key issues such as unemployment, corruption, and high cost of living.

Arati urged Kenyans to support the unity between Ruto, Uhuru, Kalonzo, and Raila, saying it could bring lasting peace and progress.

He reminded the crowd that political fights have slowed down development in the past, especially at the county level.

“Let us support unity. When our leaders stand together, our counties will grow, and our people will live better lives,” he said.

Residents of Kisii praised Arati’s remarks, saying they were ready to welcome all leaders who want to serve the people honestly.
