Otiende Amollo Says ODM Could Field President Ruto in 2027 Elections

Rarieda Member of Parliament and senior counsel Otiende Amollo has spoken on the possibility of President William Ruto running for re-election .

On the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket in the 2027 General Election following the death of party leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking during an interview on Spice FM on Friday, Otiende revealed that before his passing, Raila Odinga had emphasized that the ODM party would field a candidate in 2027.

He noted that Raila’s vision was to see the party continue to play a major role in shaping Kenya’s political direction, regardless of alliances or leadership
