Source Explains Why Ruto is Facing a Growing Political Storm as 2027 Election Polls Draw Near

Speculation of Media group disclosed to the public, why the Head of State His Excellency President William Ruto is currently facing a growing political storm as the 2027 general elections continue to draw near.

According to the Daily Nation magazine, calls from Raila Odinga's elder brother Hon Oburu Oginga for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party to be assigned the Deputy President slot.

Before a coalition deal is signed has placed William Ruto between a rock and a hard place, on whether to appease the Mt Kenya voting block by sticking with Kindiki or to bow to ODM party's demands.

Vividly recalled by many, Oburu Odinga had recently indicated that the Deputy President position is non-negotiable for members of the ODM party.

And that President Ruto risks to lose grip of the Nyanza voting bloc, should he deny them the country's second top political seat.

However, according to emerging reports, Mt Kenya political heavyweights have now issued a stern warning to President William Ruto against replacing his Deputy Prof Kithure Kindiki.

Who was elevated to power after the impeachment of former Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua.

As per their remarks, despite the fact that ODM party has the right to make demands regarding the Deputy President slot,

The move to overlook Prof Kithure Kindiki's influence in the Mountain region would amount to political self-destruction.

It is why President Ruto should strongly resist any attempt by ODM party, to cause divisions in the Kenya Kwanza administration through power-sharing tactics.
